By 2016 Most Cars Will Work With Smartphones

A recent article by Forbes states that by 2016 most cars will integrate our favourite mobile devices right into the cars' stereo system.

The reason for this? Cost and functionality. Instead of the car company having to develop software to make the car able to do all of the things our smartphones can do, they will make it so that their software is able to work with all smartphones.

This allows car drivers who couldn't normally afford this type of technology to have it easily accessible in their cars.

I think this is a great idea. Smartphones are already outselling computers, it won't be long before we can do almost everything from our pocket instead of having to use a big computer. It just makes sense to carry this functionality into our cars.
